Job Description - Reporting to the Regional (APAC) Head of Internal Audit; this role requires you to create a group-wide audit strategy for assigned business areas; such that the highest risks to delivery of the business strategy are mitigated. The job responsibilities include:

- Create and justify an audit plan for assigned portfolio

- Lead and monitor the delivery of the audit; via Senior Audit Managers

- Provide audit opinion for own area of responsibility

- Build a highly engaged and motivated audit function

- Develop team using coaching and feedback (create specific individual and team objectives to build skills and knowledge)

- Reward and recognize good performance across the cluster

- Monitor skills and define and execute a recruitment strategy for the team

- Contribute to continuous improvement by prioritizing projects, allocating resource, reviewing business improvement projects and taking opportunities to add value

- Respond to ad-hoc management requests

- Develop, maintain and share specialist Audit knowledge

- Set the tone, environment and culture and model the team values and behaviors

The Successful Candidate - You will be a qualified CIA/CISA/CA with 15 years of overall experience and 10+ years of Audit experience in the BFSI environment, having had extensive interactions with regulators across the Globe. You will have prior experience of handling group-wide audit and motivating large teams to achieve audit objectives. You will be adept at developing and leveraging senior internal and external relationships. You will have excellent communication; coupled the ability to use this to train the team, pitch to external and internal stake-holders and comment on crucial audit findings. Some experience in an outsourcing set-up is a plus. A chance to shape the global operations strategy of a leading MNC Bank, by participating in business-critical group-wide committees.
