Director Finance/ Finance Controller - Internet Company - Gurgaon

What will you do :

As the Financial Controller, you will own the entity financials and will play a key role in creating value for ibibo businesses and functions by providing financial and operational analysis; ensuring statutory compliances; performing accounting, risk mitigation, and complex project management and business restructuring, to address business, accounting, financial and taxation concerns.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Expertise in understanding of systems and processes, accounting policies/ principles and controls. implemented by management for ensuring appropriate controls in operations and proper legal compliance and adherence to accounting standards.

- Checking & assessing the value drivers of business and developing analytics to facilitate business decision-making.

- Identifying and preparing the Company for changes arising out any changes in Law or Accounting Practices.

- Timely and smooth completion of Internal, Statutory and Tax Audits, Transfer pricing

- Ensure the compliance to various statutes, and developing robust internal control processes.

- Managing treasury & cash funds for the company on a consolidated basis.

- Ensuring timely completion of IFRS and IGAAP compliant financial statements.

- Handle direct and indirect tax assessments

- Liaise with the parent company in assessing the funding requirements of the entity and ensure proper working capital management.

- Engage with leadership team to develop business plans and monitor progress against the plan.

- Formulation and implementation of risk management policies for foreign exchange management related risks.

Desired Skills :

- Working knowledge of ERP environments and the ability to work with IT Teams to ensure delivery.

- CA with minimum 8+ years (post qualification) of strong & relevant experience in Accounting and related fields. Must have a proven track record in auditing, statutory compliance.

- Thorough technical knowledge on financial reporting (Indian GAAP, taxation), IRFS, Financial reporting and analysis.

- Strong knowledge of Indirect tax, FEMA and Transfer Pricing.

- Candidates with Big 4 experience will have an added advantage.

- Additional company secretarial qualifications preferred.

- Highly collaborative approach to facilitate cross functional relationship building.

- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision making.

- Should have experience of leading and managing teams.

- Excellent commercial and business experience.
