Role and Responsibilities :  - Manage general accounting functions; scope of management includes monthly accounting closing, personnel and compliance with financial controls  - Timely and accurate analysis of financial results, position and trends including the preparation of a monthly financial reporting package including financial analysis comparing current period results and financial position to prior period comparatives and position, explaining key variances  - Oversight of the balance sheet reconciliation process  - Reporting on Month-end Receivables collections, Fixed assets register, CWIP and Property inventories   - Review and reporting of the intra-segment and intercompany transactions   - Oversight over Legal entity results and position and supporting the financial reporting team with appropriate documentation for legal entity filings and audits   - Management of SOX testing, internal and external audits and reviews, as well as any ad hoc regulatory or compliance requirements   - Partner with tax and treasury on all relevant tax and cash management requirements  - Partner with the business to onboard new clients and initiatives  - Account for mergers and acquisitions   - Active support for ad-hoc requests from the Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller   - A finance leader in India and a business partner to segment executive management  - Direct the activities of centers of excellence, cross-segment accounting teams and develop accounting policies and practices, applicable for worldwide operations  - Analyze new and proposed accounting standards and preparing detailed interpretive accounting guidance for assessing the impact to the company  - Provide advice on ad-hoc technical accounting issues as they arise  - Review and sign off of the relevant results and positions and drafting of the MDNA for quarterly and annual SEC reporting  - Participate in the design and execution of technical accounting training, covering both new and existingrequirements  - Develop and implement operational best practices   - Review and enhance financial systems/technology  - Provide regular updates and analyses to senior management  Qualifications :  - Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years experience in a growing, multi-national organization  - CA required with strong technical accounting knowledge  - Strong attention to detail and strong work ethic. A self-starter who is comfortable being a doer as well as a leader  - Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements  - We are looking for a strong leader with excellent communication skills that wants to make a difference in a high-growth environment
