At least 5 years of experience as people manager, aspiring to grow in the managerial career path in software delivery.  - Worked in an Indian or global company that delivers high quality systems integrating software with electronics and/or mechanical systems. Has demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams.  - Has deep appreciation for technology evolution and modern software engineering practices, quality assurance, testing, configuration & release management, defect management, and associated tools, deployed in world-class software creation processes  - Can actively contribute to problem-solving, triaging and resolving defects with engineers in the team  - Is willing to coach/mentor for upcoming leaders in software engineering function.  - Aligned with the values and aspirations of ideaForge.  Desirable and Optional:  - Deep experience with Microsoft Development Environment (specifically C#)  - Educational background in computer or electrical science/engineering, preferably from a premier engineering school  - Experience of interacting with end-customers, trouble-shooting field problems with products.  - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming  - Experience with both Windows & Linux development  - Experience with Embedded Software Development  - Experience in developing multi-threaded applications/distributed systems  - Experience in Network Programming (Sockets)  - Experience with DirectX/OpenGL  - Experience in developing image/video processing applications  - Experience in developing real-time video streaming/video conferencing applications  - Experience with Android Development
