Director - Corporate Development (M&A, PE - Healthcare Sector)

Job Responsibilities in brief :

- The person shall be responsible for creating a market landscape assessment of trends and players and an identification of niches.

- He / She will identify companies to incubate and will be responsible for creating and communicating the business case and associated financial models to the leadership team and stakeholders.

- He/ She would Lead / be part of multi-disciplinary due diligence teams involved in acquisitions. This will require intense focus and effective communications with the management of acquisition targets, investment bankers, legal and financial advisors, and due diligence team leaders.

Candidate Requirements :

- Candidates should have an MBA from a top business school/ CA rank-holder and should have worked in the VC / PE / M & A space with some orientation towards Healthcare.

- Experience should be at least 10 years. This experience could be in working for M & A group of Big 4 firms, PE firms etc.

- The candidate should have a very good understanding of Healthcare sector, a good understanding of the market segmentation including niches and the kind of players who exist across the continuum.

- Additionally, he/ she should have experience with mergers and acquisitions and competencies in financial and valuation modeling.
