Director Consulting & Sales (BigData & Analytics)-BFSI @Singapore  Exciting BigData Analytics Start-up org – Singapore  CLIENT DETAIL- Client is a well self funded company with a unique platform and services enable customers to transform their businesses with rapid deployment of Big Data Analytic solutions targeted towards Retail Banking, Investment Banking, Insurance, Healthcare and Life Sciences Services industry having offices in Singapore and Mumbai.  ROLE DETAIL-  The Director – Customer Success role is critical to the long term growth of Client.  - The mission is to drive top line revenue by leading the consultative sales, business development and customer engagement efforts across APAC market (except India).  - The role is principally accountable for acquiring customers by consultatively offering the most appropriate solutions and services to drive customer satisfaction.  CORE RESPONSIBILITIES  - Consulting (Consultative Sales in BFSI, initially in Insurance sector and then Banking & Financial Services)  - New Client Acquisition   - Existing Account Management.  - Ensuring Customer Success: Be a customer confidant & create opportunities to help customers to grow their business & solve their challenges using Big Data & Analytics is one of the critical success factors of this role.  THE INDIVIDUAL - QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE  - A Hunter cum Farmer OR a Consultant cum Hunter profile with 10-15 years of experience, with reputed consulting or software services companies or analytics solutions / services providers.  - At least 5 years of experience in ASEAN Market (preferably Singapore) is a must.  - Experience in Business development / consulting/Sales and/or account management in the defined geography for identifying, processing and closing new sales opportunities within APAC.  - Basic understanding of Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) will be a big plus.  - Prior experience in selling to insurance customers will be a must.  - Ability to develop and sustain effective new business relationships with clients in order to leverage and set up effective commercial deals.  - Experience in closing (signing) business with large customers/vendors  - Experience with start-ups is desirable but not mandatory.  - Must possess excellent communication & presentation skills.  - Effective social and inter-personal skills, ability to relate to multiple levels of management, staff and customers.  EDUCATION: The candidate should preferably have a business management or engineering/technical educational background.  This is a confidential search.
