Due to growing business demand planning to expand existing compliance team in India, actively seeking a Senior Compliance Officer, to be based in India, to provide leadership for their Banking business in the region. This is a senior and high profile role, helping managing compliance and regulatory risk for the business reporting to Global Compliance, Managing Director  Some of the key responsibilities will include :  - Contributing to the strategic Compliance Agenda  - Being the key contact for regional senior stakeholders  - Assessing the impact of regulatory changes in the region  - Building appropriate control mechanisms to comply with local regulations  - Protecting the franchise and reputation of the firm and reviewing new business initiatives  To qualify for this role you will require :  - Relevant regulatory and compliance experience in corporate/retail/private banking business.  - Experience managing a comprehensive compliance program  - The ability to interact with senior management both regionally and globally  - Experience in providing compliance risk analysis and solutions to the business  - Experience in working in a geographically dispersed compliance environment  Shashikant Bomma
