Director - Compensation & Benefits - BFSI/IT/Mfg (10-12 yrs)

Role and responsibilities:

- Development and implementation of the reward strategy to include: salary benchmarking, pension arrangements, benefits management and annual compensation events such as bonus and salary review

- Leads implementation and management of compensation analysis, program design, legal compliance, and other compensation issues

- Collects and distributes internal best practices. Designs recommended practices, models, and other compensation tools

- Develop strong relationship with Finance team to ensure that HR and finance are linked on key data and processes incl. accruals, cost impact of pay budgets, pyramid reporting, data integrity

- Keeps abreast of compensation trends, best practices, and new regulations through professional meetings, seminars, webinars, coursework, publications, and other sources

- Liaisons with internal departments and external vendors to develop and support tools for business compensation needs

- Collaborate and contribute to the development, design and implementation of executive compensation programs that include total rewards strategy, competitive benchmarking, annual and long-term incentive plan design, employment contract review, change-in-control agreements, overall competitive pay analysis and executive pay-for-performance alignment

- Manage all facets of the Corporation's employee stock plans to include granting, exercise, release and termination of all equity awards for executives, employees and non-employees

- Manage all equity-related communications to include development and distribution of all equity-related materials and correspondence; this includes the drafting of grant agreements and coordination with legal counsel as necessary

- Establish and implement new equity plans and programs; this includes performing analysis related to current plans and programs as well as formulating design recommendations for new plans and programs

- Prepare reports for management and the Board of Directors

- Work closely with the Executive Management; assist with the management of executive compensation tasks and projects

Required skill sets:

- 10+ years of total experience with 7 years of compensation experience (preferably including some executive compensation experience) and a genuine interest in this field

- MBA with specialization in HR from Tier 1 B schools.

- Experience designing annual, equity, stock and other long and short term incentive programs
