Role: Director - Engineering (As a Co-Founder within Start Up)

Location: NCR Region

CTC Range: Fixed + Equity.

Our Client is a start-up and founded by 2 partners and both have strong experience of 2 decades within Internet / .com / Ecommerce domain as an entrepreneur / investor / employee of working with global .com organizations and selling their previous ventures to the large global organizations.

- One, he was lastly the CEO of an Ecom marketing company funded by one of the top Notch Global PE Fund. He has made that company Profitable.

- Another, was an ex- Managing Partner off a PE Fund and now an Investor and Director on Board on multiple companies.

Responsibilities:

- Director of Engineering will lead our Engineering Team and take up complete responsibility of the Engineering function.

- As part of the early leadership team, you would be hiring and building your team, prepare technology strategy, own up product roadmap and architect scalable solution.

- We are looking for a dynamic and result oriented technology entrepreneurial leader who gets great satisfaction in solving real life problems with technology solutions and innovations.

- You would be building world class SAAS products.

Requirements:

- B. Tech / BE or MCA from well regarded Institutes (Preferred with MBA / M.Sc from Top IVY League Institutes)

- Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience or previously handled / worked with start-up and set up the technology function as a founder / co-founder / key team member.

- Willingness to make his hands dirty and lead by example

- Experience of hiring, leading and training a team of developers in a / with start up or large product organization

- Entrepreneurial and understanding of high pressure, long hour and fast changing product market fit dynamics of a start up. Someone who would like to get up in the middle of night and replying to the team / customers etc.

- Excellent project management skills of planning and executing

Functional Skills:

- Strong hold in backend development and algorithms

- In depth knowledge of web technologies and cloud

- Thorough Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JQuery, Javascript, HTML and CSS

- Experience in building large scale system designs

- Ability to pick-up any new language / frame-work / protocol

- Strong hold in Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns

- Familiarity with configuration of server in UNIX Environment
