A part of People Group, spanning its interest across OOH Advertising, Travel, Technology, Real Estate, Modern Farming, Automobiles and Solar Energy, was founded in 2015 by a team of young dynamic engineers, entrepreneurs and passionate visionaries from IIT/IIM and other premier educational institutes.
The company has a state wide CNF and distribution rights of few leading e-rickshaw and loader manufactures of the country and is established to harness the untapped potential of the First and last mile connectivity and make People E-Cart a household name.
General Description: A young and dynamic entrepreneur with a willingness to work in an start-up type challenging atmosphere with an immense learning curve and with passion and expertise to harness a new business opportunity right from scratch along with team of industry experts mentors and energetic young founders to Establish, Lead and Grow the State-wide Automobile CNF cum Dealership of People E-Cart, electric rickshaw and Loader, a revolutionary product for a demography like Karnataka for first and last mile connectivity. Responsibilities would include but not limited to from Team building - Dealer network development - Sales Strategy - Marketing Campaigns - Operations - Overall Growth and responsible for topline and bottomline of the Vertical.
Task, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulate a strategic roadmap, build a team and monitor performance.
- Identify, Appoint and Manage Dealerships across 27 districts.
- Lead and manage end to end departments : Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, Corporate Relations - banks, govt. departments, insurance companies, manufacturer, etc.
- Head : Sales and Ops of all including self Dealerships.
- Banks and Insurance tie-ups for across state.
- Head : Business Development for retail, government and corporates sector.
- Conceptualise and implement customer service checkpoints and measures.
- Manage business by monitoring each dealership in terms of viability and profitability.
- Conceptualise, Initiate and implement strategies, marketing programs/ BTL activities from time to time in the assigned region.
- Set targets for sales team and coordinates with team leaders to achieve required market share.
- Manage funds flow to the dealerships by coordinating with Financiers for trade advances or Inventory Funding.
- Provide research, communications and strategy-related expertise to the sales team.
- Train dealers and dealer staff on sales process, product & CRM related activities..
- Report on Dealer performance, market shares, market information, sales forecast, competitor performance, RTO analysis, application matrix, financier matrix and team productivity.
- Report to the management weekly/monthly on the project progress
- Build contacts in the Automotive/Automobile sector to lead team and generate business.
- Achieve sales and profit targets for the division.

Experience:
- 5-12 years of experience as a Business Head/General Manager in a similar profile and working in the sales and marketing preferably in Automobiles domain,
Qualifications: A university degree in business management preferred.
Travel: Candidate must be willing to travel all over India at a short notice period.
