Director - Business Partnering - IT Capability Development - FMCG (8-23 yrs)

This role in the IT CD Global Business Partner team supports Capability Development & Implementation of solutions by Business Partnering with the Customer Development function in Unilever for the Distributive Trade business.

A key function of this role is ensuring that the people who work partners in the Distributor Trade have the best possible technology, Information and Solutions available is a vital element for winning in the marketplace

This role is responsible for partnering with a set of Market Clusters within Asia, ANZ & Africa for Distributive trade space, ensuring that leading edge solutions and capabilities are delivered through gaining a deep understanding of markets, understanding business requirements and championing the value of IT and the programs.

The role is accountable for the deployment quality & timelines, budgets and managing the fitment of the solutions into the markets and supporting the Organizational Change Management in the markets.

Main Accountabilities:

- Deliver programs and solutions into the markets that the role is partnering with accountability for quality, timelines, budgets and business benefits

- Build long-term relationships with markets and gain their confidence through a strong understanding of the business processes and opportunities to implement IT solutions to help Unilever win in the markets

- Identify and respond to the country's business process changes and requirements with best practice and program solutions to meet the requirements.

- Take responsibility for the level of customer satisfaction, manage customers expectations and concerns. Ensure that corrective action is taken by own organisation and by the customer organisation. Facilitates customer involvement in the continuous improvement of the products and services supplied to them.

- Works with the CD Route to Market (RtM) to deliver IT solutions that can make support the business objectives; defining strategies, drawing up requirements specifications, overseeing the market change management and implementing solutions, taking into account as necessary any safety related implications of systems considered.

- Works with CD community to deliver improvements in business operations as programs deliver solutions to the business teams in the markets

- Work with the solution development teams - internal and vendor to design and deploy solutions into the markets.

- Carries out analysis and develops business proposals to exploit technology in line with the CD IT & RtM objectives and strategy.

- Initiates and influences relationships with and between RtM, CD in Markets and CD IT in business change design, management and implementation, acting as a primary point of contact for them.

- Deployment of programs in the markets On time In full

- Client Satisfaction of CD teams in Markets

- Realisation of benefits (jointly with Business)

- Rollout of the program

- Within the budget and minimal disruption to business processes

- Ensuring change management from the program and business continuity perspective

- Solution harmonisation and adherence to best practice standards

Relevant Experience:

IT Business Partnering Experience:

- Knowledge of SAP IS Retail Solution or SAP SD functionality

- Experience in Change Management

- Experience in Large SAP Deployment/Rollout in the CPG Industry

- Strong Communication Skills

- Deep appreciation of SAP landscapes and experience in design/blue print of SAP Solutions
