Director - BD - Market Research (8-15 yrs)
We are looking for people from Consultative selling, Market Research, B2B research, Business Consulting Services background. He / She should be playing an active role in New Business Generation apart from managing the existing on going accounts. This will be a WORK FROM HOME opportunity since our client has not set up an office in Western Part of India as yet.
Job Description
Reporting - This position Reports into the Executive Director-Business Development (APAC)
Key Responsibilities
- Strong background in consultative selling – to large accounts
- Achieving a stated business target in the region ( 0.75 MM USD)
- Opening new client accounts for the firm in the region
- Forging strong client relationships
- Making cold calls and generating new client database
- Playing the role of a Client custodian across projects in the region
- Growing the business YoY with new accounts
- Coordinate with the delivery team to ensure project quality and timelines
- Ensure client satisfaction across areas
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships
Education / Experience/ Skills Requirement
- The candidate should be a solution-oriented individual who flourishes in a challenging and fast paced environment with clients who require actionable, direct, and comprehensive answers to complex questions and business issues.
Prospective candidates will have a College Degree / BE with MBA in Marketing; have relevant business experience, and demonstrate the following:
- At least eight years’ experience in consultative selling - market research, B2B research and Business Consulting services
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to details and ability to manage responsibilities with minimum direction
- Strong track record in client management and achieving business targets
- Understanding of market research methodologies will be beneficial
