Position : Director Engineering/ VP Engineering

Location : Delhi/NCR

Reporting will directly be to the CTO (who is one of the co - founders.)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Ensuring that the product vision is realized through excellence in execution

- Co-developing technical strategy with the CTO, and for developing and maintaining a technical roadmap that will continue to innovate from a technical standpoint.

- Work closely with founders and management team to lead engineering planning --to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives, timetables, implementation and deployment of product Innovate for travelers and agents using existing or new technologies

- Maintain and build a high performance engineering culture

- Own the development methodology. Align with the executive team to improve the development process, prioritize projects and manage multiple work streams

- Lead a team of Software Development Engineers and QA Engineers, establishing development practices and standards

- Build and retain world class engineers through strong recruitment, mentoring, and career management

- Grow the engineering team from 40+ to 100+ and beyond.

- Be accountable for delivery of projects within schedules and timelines

- Manage team budgets and reporting metrics. You love to be lean and crafty with limited resources

Required skillset :

- B Tech in Computer Science, or other Engineering degree and equivalent experience, during which you have developed extremely strong Computer Science fundamentals and analytical abilities

- 8+ years of experience

- Proven history of operating in an environment with high-speed cadence

- Extensive software engineering development and design experience with complex and highly scalable products using multiple technologies and languages

- Have successfully grown a division from 10-15 to 50+ engineers.

- Program management expertise and engineering execution skillset,

- 80/20 mindset - see a way to get 80% of the benefit for 20% of the cost

- Start up experience strongly preferred
