Director/AVP - Travel Operations (14-22 yrs)

Summary of the position :

- We are seeking an experienced travel leader, with 15+year of experience in travel operations, product automation, process design and re-engineering with strong understanding of compliance and policies.

- Incumbent will be responsible to manage team of 300 employees of travel fulfillment processes like ticketing, waivers and escalations, schedule change and business analytics. The roles requires incumbent to be result oriented and savvy with new tool and technology within travel trade. Key responsibility of the leader will be to provide strategic direction & steer business towards automation and prepare us for growth.

- AVP PAAQ will be responsible for coaching, developing and motivating our teams and preparing them for growth.

Duties &Responsibilities :

- Provide leadership and direction to multi-functional teams through operational guidance, project planning, innovation, cost optimization & efficiency improvement

- Influence & drive change management through collaboration

- Work closely with products and development teams

- Responsible for driving key business metrics - SLA compliance, TAT adherence, Quality, process compliance.

- Augment process improvement through automation strategies

- Develop next generation servicing strategy for the portfolio

- Build strong internal controls framework

- Support business continuity

- Foster an environment of open communication and problem solving

- Effective communication with external and internal stakeholders

- The leader must continually demonstrate strategic thought leadership and drive change management principles

- The position requires leader to analyze overall data/business trends/information to guide teams in detecting opportunities to improve PRT, Yield enhancement and new opportunities identification. Strategize with marketing teams to boost business revenue.

- Build a culture that energizes and engages the workforce and making FP - employer of choice

Required Skills :

- Proven track record of working in a matrix drive global environment and delivering outstanding results

- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities at once

- Exceptional thought leadership to continually explore and create innovative process and business improvements

- Live growth mindset, self- starter, ability to work in dynamic, time- critical environment

- Demonstrated experience in leading large teams and driving change management

- Should possess travel operations management experience

- Strong Project management, process reengineering experience, problem solving and analytical skills

- Understand travel mid office business and products available

- Excellent written and oral communication

Desired Skills :

- Trained in process improvement, PRINCE and Six sigma.

- Functional GDS knowledge will be desirable
