Max 17 Years  Role in Taxation Function - Must have strength in transfer pricing.   Position Summary:   - The candidate will be a Chartered Accountant responsible for the core Direct Tax compliances of a large company.   - The candidate should have independently handled the computation and uploading of income tax returns of an organisation of repute as well as preparation of and appearance before the Income Tax Authorities for assessment and appeal hearings.   - He should also have adequate exposure with regard to preparation of Transfer Pricing report and handling Transfer Pricing assessment and   DRP hearings:   - This position is based in Mumbai.   Major Responsibilities:   - Effective tax administration in terms of coordination of information leading to computation of income tax returns and ensuring preparedness in assessments, appeals matters related to Direct tax.   - Advising the business on statutory compliances relating to withholding taxes   - Coordination in ensuring tax compliance on matters related to advance tax computation, tax audits, Transfer Pricing Audits within given time frames.   - Analysing and adopting positions in relation to cross-border transactions from International tax (DTAA) and transfer pricing perspective.   - Effective management of subordinates within tax department.   - Attending assessments and appeals and handle Tax matters in Tribunal & High Court   Candidate Profile:   Qualification: A Chartered Accountant (in 1st attempt) is strongly preferred   Age : 35-45 years   Minimum Previous Experience: Candidate should have hard core tax exposure for 10 to 17 years, with proven capability of handling computation of income tax, assessments and appeal hearings.   Key Competencies:   - Ability to coordinate with tax counsels / advocates in tax matters with tribunals and courts   - Skilled at drafting and reviewing (with legal assistance) complex tax documents.   - Develops practical solutions for new or unique situations, and presents convincing arguments to operations.   - Ability to liaise with external consultants and build professional relationships.   - Proven ability to leverage strong analytical, supervisory and management skills throughout organization.   - Demonstrates professional leadership skills, exhibits drive and determination, hardworking and positive attitude.
