Digital Video OTT Architect

Looking for an OTT Architect skills preferably with any of the premier video services

- Experience with CDN and micro services architecture

- In essence a full stack expert - just for your clarity, in our case, the client sides, which are web, android and iOS platforms and the back end which is a AVS Video services powered by a CMS and of course hosted on cloud and content served via akamai (CDN)

- Experience with large enterprise level data modelling - for CMS data model and how to expand the architecture as we expand the services to include subscriptions, bring new products, devices and other new offerings

- Experience working with end to end ecosystem for video services - in specific ad service networks, recommendation engines and content providers

- True experience architecting consumer-facing B2C propositions; I see a lot of stuff around supply chain, MAM, etc which is useful but not the full picture

- Webscale horizontal solutions versus vertical IPTV solutions, including whether he has skills in AWS centric architectures

- Scaling strategy and software architecture best practices to enable it

- Resiliency and common failures in these types of implementations

- Multi-device support

- Moving parts of a multi-vendor landscape for an OTT platform

- Different layers of the architecture that he is familiar with and what each of those layers do - and how it supports top-down stories

- Different packaged vendors around DRM, playback, analytics and how to integrate them

- Device support and complexities around them

- Operational capabilities required to be baked into the product development process
