Responsibilities
The responsibilities of a Digital Services Manager will include:
- Executing and delivering engagements that include pre deal due diligences (example, buy-side, sell-side), post-merger integration, carve-out/separation planning from inception to completion including leading engagement delivery managing key user relationships and expectations
- Drawing on knowledge and experience across all aspects of Digital in business, provides insightful, deal-relevant points of view, recommendations based on robust analysis and addressing complex technical points with senior client staff
- Business / solution architecture design and development for integration/carve out projects
- Business requirements definition & business process design for the digitization of business processes
- Business / IT alignment of digital driven business initiatives
- Develop / improve digital operating models on integration/carve out projects
- Develop digital strategy, business cases, target operating models including roadmaps and approach to change management
- Analyze and integrate customer insight data and business objectives to develop digital strategy and execution plan
- Delivery and review of high-quality, risk-managed reports and other work products in various formats
- Involvement in the business development process and support the development and delivery of technical proposals and sales presentations
- Build relationships with firm's offices across the globe, and demonstrate knowledge of regional practices. Responsible for high degree of GDS user satisfaction with engagement process and work products
- Manage client engagement teams executing OTS services which support key decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value
- Provide guidance on projects and mentor a team of OTS professionals
- Conduct timely performance reviews for employees and develop other professionals by providing effective performance feedback and training. Lead by example
- Identify business development opportunities and assist Partners and Senior Managers on proposals and new business opportunities
- Use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided
Job requirements
To qualify, candidates must have:
- Post Graduate degree in business, engineering, computer science or related field from a premier institute with 8-10 years- of applicable industry and/or consulting experience
- Broad knowledge and deep understanding of one or more core digital aspects - digital and cloud emerging technologies, enterprise and solution architecture, digital analytics, digital marketing strategy, customer experience management and defining and improving end-to-end customer journeys
- Program and project management experience with demonstrable experience in managing the delivery of successful programs
- Knowledge of Structured methodologies and a familiarity with industry standards such as ITIL for Infrastructure, Systems Development Life Cycle methods and COBIT for IT governance
- Understanding of M&A life cycle, carve-out / integration of a business post-announcement of transaction, cross-border M&A
- Ability to determine risks and opportunity areas
- Skill to synthesize approaches to complex carve-out and integration conflicts
- Talent to adapt to new challenges and ideas
- Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well versed with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to undertake international travel as per business requirement
