Job Description for the position of Digital Media Specialist
Responsibilities:
Major Functions
- To be responsible to create and implement the Company's Digital Media strategy, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and encouraging product adoption
- To coordinate with the internal Marketing/PR and other teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice, cultivating a Digital Media referral network and impact bottom-line
Basic Duties & Responsibilities:
- Functional & Operational Responsibilities
- Handling and managing agencies involved in Digital media Marketing for the Company
- Manage presence in social networking sites including Face book, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs
- Seed editorial content into social networks and other digital media platforms
- Become an advocate of the Company in Digital Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions in a promptly matter
- Monitor trends in Digital Media
- Plan and execute Digital Media campaigns
- Create and maintain a Digital Media editorial calendar and posting schedule
- Respond to any customer enquiry or complaint received through the Social Media Channels and other assigned communication platforms
- Work with the IT team to ensure Digital Media tools are kept up to date
- Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of Digital Media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
- Report feedback on insights gained from Digital Media monitoring into the Marketing and to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
- Special Assignment Responsibilities
- Handles all social networking activities
- Oversees all activities of Digital Media
- Plan and submit possible innovations in Digital media
- Generating the reports on Digital Media and present to the management on every month
Candidates Desired Profile:
- Bachelor Degree or Business Management Master's degree
- Complete any training courses pertaining to Digital Marketing
- Should have 3 - 4 years of experience in relevant field
- Digital Media/blogging in FMCG/commercial/Retail environment
