Position – Digital Manager
A webmaster / web architect, web developer, site author, or website administrator, for maintaining one or many websites. The duties of the webmaster may include ensuring that the web servers, hardware and software are operating correctly, designing the website, generating and revising web pages, replying to user comments, and examining traffic through the site. Webmasters may be generalists with HTML expertise who manage most or all aspects of Web operations. Depending on the nature of the websites they manage, webmasters typically know scripting languages such as Javascript, PHP and Perl. He is also required to know how to configure web servers such as Apache or IIS and serve as the server administrator. In addition, webmasters may also act as website designers on smaller-scale sites. Content placement is important part of this role.
Qualifications:
3-5 years strong digital marketing experience, preferably working in a software/high tech organization and/or interactive marketing supplier/agency. MBA preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage websites from design and content point of view – will be the webmaster of all SNF properties
- Understand different target profiles, market segments to manage the website, and to run online initiatives
- To liaison with various stakeholders, take the brief and execute updates on digital presence
- Creating and maintaining visible FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, accounts and other social media sites.
- Management of blogs, news articles, email campaigns and newsletters
Skill sets:
- Must be an enthusiastic and avid social media junky with hands on experience with Facebook, LinkedIn, Digg, Blogs, twitters etc.
- Ability to generate ideas and work within minimal guidance
- Strong communication and effective people management skills
- Solid project management skills preferred
- Good analytical bend, to ensure benchmarking for various initiatives.
