Job Description:

Role: Technical Architect

Job Location: Bangalore

Exp: 8 to 13 years.

The technical architect role is for a next generation product in the healthcare sector. The role demands that the architect understand the existing platform which has been built with a substantial investment and take it to the next level to build cutting edge solutions for our customers. The platform is the core part of the solution for our embedded analytics solution which enable our partners and customers to derive substantial value from a Saas based engagement.

Job Requirements

- Understand platform architectures, challenges in platform development and has demonstrated abilities building platforms

- Capability to articulate platform level abstractions from the user requirements

- Capability to follow thru, articulate risks at all levels and close the risks with the required stake holders

- Capability to do a SWOT on internal tools and 3rd party tools and provide a clear decision in terms of the approach

- Enterprise platform experience with preferably both thin and thick client experience

- Has a passion for building application that are sensitive to memory, bandwidth, latency and tough performance constraints. Has relevant metrics to talk about it.

- Deeply conversant in technologies like Java/J2ee, Java Script, XML, DOM/SAX Parsers, Swings, HTML, CSS, HTTP/s, C++, Jboss, JSP, EJB 2.0, Struts 2.0, Servlets, Kodo (ORM), JMS, RMI, Quartz, ANT, drools, various file Systems, XML, DB (SQL, Oracle, DB2), DMS, Web Services, LDAP integration

- Has built or integrated tools like Document Management System, Work Flow management, Offline Capability and Integration frameworks

- Strong verbal, presentation and written communications skills for technical audiences; able to explain technical solutions to technical teams

- Good interpersonal, problem solving, reasoning, negotiation and analytical skills

- Good planning and organizational skills, self-starter with self initiative and direction. Has AGILE experience

- Preferably led a team of 5-10 members

- Works with confidential information

Job Responsibility:

- Independently accountable for building and maintaining one or more technology on the platform

- Contributes to Product success by providing technical leadership

- Evaluates and anticipates impact of technical solutions on related projects.

- Writes technical architecture and solutions

- Translates technical solutions based on client's needs and feasibility

- Stays current with technology and determines the impact of hardware and/or software upgrades on new and existing applications

- Evaluates vendor products and prepares recommendations.

- Ensures high quality, adherence to standards and best practices, high performance, and scalable, repeatable processes and deliverables

- Provides Product knowledge and expertise to the DH organization

- Prepares and conducts technical instruction and mentoring for team members
