Job Description

Role - Solutions Architect

Job Location - Bangalore

Job Responsibility

- Requirements Elicitation, Understanding, Analysis, & Management

- Understand the product's Vision and requirements, and contribute to the creation of the supplemental requirements

- Ability to abstract business requirements and articulate the product specification for platform/service

- Build the high-level solution specifications for a particular platform and/or service

- Solution review and validate client requirements based on the client's business process and challenges

- Participate in analysis discussions to ensure the provision requirements match the solution specifications

- Provide inputs and support for strategic sales efforts from a solution perspective

- Provide solution guidance and support across projects/programs and client engagements

- Participate in product review meetings and client meetings

- Provide detailed inputs in terms of process/UI design or paradigms

Job Requirements

Design, Development, & Support

- Should have defined organization-wide solution direction and roadmap in line with business requirements

- Should have identified generic use cases for proposing frame work level solution changes

- Should be familiar with application architecture using Java/J2ee for enterprise products, n-tier architectures

- Should have been exposed to and demonstrates problem solving abilities for large, scalable, highly available enterprise applications

- Should have demonstrated the ability to review the application architecture created by technical teams and provide effective inputs/comments

- Should have demonstrated the ability to do performance evaluation and implementation of the feasibility of the proposed solution

- Should have demonstrated that increased reusability and reduced redundancy in the proposed solution

- Ensure compliance of the solution to standard industry requirements/frameworks preferably in the health case domain

- Should have conducted research in identifying new and emerging techniques and ongoing industry developments

- Should have demonstrated the ability to review solution best practices and align them with industry trends and best practices

- Should be able to influence strategic decisions with respect to organization-wide solution endeavors

- Should have demonstrated the ability to provide Saas based solutions (desirable)

Leadership

- Should have led a team of 5-10 members

- Be the subject matter expertise to client, client team, shared services, and supporting services

- Coach, mentor, and guide development associates to enhance the solution leadership within the team

- Coach the development team on changes in the solution area and other industry trends

- Adhere to the project process

- Participate in root cause analysis and performance standards discussions

- Analyze the ongoing process to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities

- Identify opportunities to define/follow standard operating procedures
