Role Profile  Title: Consultant (Brand & Market Planner)  Organization: Diageo India Pvt Ltd  Employment Type - 1 year contract (only candidates willing to work on a contractual term need apply)  Reports to: Head of Consumer Planning   Context:  Consumer Planning as a function works closely with multiple functions such as the marketing teams to partner them in brand/portfolio planning and market planning, commercial and customer marketing teams to partner them in shopper planning and the innovation team to partner in innovation planning.  Purpose of the role:  - Take responsibility for the search for consumer insights   - Proactively integrate consumer insights into marketing strategy (specifically Brand and Market Planning)  Top Accountabilities:  - Manage the brand tracking study, Retail Audit and other external consumer research projects   - Manage marketing effectiveness processes to ensure constant learning, improvement and sharing  - Facilitate quarterly brand and market planning workshops  - Manage a core group of research partners so that we have the best research knowledge base to deliver consumer insights  - Establish and manage the market research budget  - Actively “share and spin” learnings and insights with in-market teams  Qualification & Experience required:  Postgraduate in Management, minimum 4 years in consumer goods industry & been in market research for atleast 3 years.   Basic to proficient level of consumer understanding, thorough understanding of market research processes and techniques.
