Role Summary

The Deputy Manager - HR will drive critical HR programs and processes to enable all functions in its successful implementation of new initiatives/projects and business expansion plans. The key tasks include meeting TAT on talent acquisition plan, executing job analysis, talent management, competency mapping, people engagement, people development plans; to attain a consistent business growth towards achieving the Dharma Life's 2020 vision.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement recruitment plans to meet human capital needs of the organization, spearhead the recruitment process on the field and at the head office;

- Manage the channels of recruitment to balance time frames, costs of recruitment and develop sustainable relationships with the primary manpower supply markets and channels of manpower

- Identify, interview and deliver external active and passive (non-applicant) candidates to the business (screen and submit qualified candidates)

- Source passive candidates through creative sourcing channels including: Boolean Internet searches, internal and external networking, cold calling, LinkedIn, directories, blogs, social media, periodicals and talent pools (professional societies, networks, alumni associations, competitors, etc.). Identify trends and expertise in external marketplace for attracting the best talent by keeping up to date with articles, joining news groups, on-line communities, attending conferences and training as appropriate

- Conduct market mapping across levels

- Keeping a track on employee turnover and exit rate

- Conducting surveys in order to understand their engagement level

- Planning events and activities on a regular basis

- Acts as first point of contact for employees for any employment related issues

- Supports resolution of employee relations issues and conducts investigations as necessary

- Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required

Desired Skills & Experience

- A Bachelor's degree with post graduate qualification (or MBA) in HR/ Management is required

- Candidate should have 1-3 years experience of best in class HR practices & systems

- Candidate should possess strong business acumen, organizational and strategic agility, highly accomplished interpersonal skills and demonstrate ability to maintain and grow the existing strong people culture and morale

- A resourceful self-starter. Display an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a fast-pace, start-up environment

- Culturally sensitive and has experience in empowering team-members, and driving team members toward results and accountability

- Excellent attention to detail

- Intellectually insightful and creative yet analytically rigorous.

- Excellent standard of written and verbal communication - Hindi and English

Travel Requirement:

- Should be able to travel for recruitment and engagement purposes, and other Dharma Life team members, as per business necessity.
