Areas of responsibility:
- Manage advance tax computations for Budget, Forecast and actual legal entities.
- To monitor and file Indirect and Direct tax return for group companies as per the legal provisions.
- To consolidate and review tax assessment details and attends to tax authorities with submissions.
- Financials, MIS review and tax reporting quarterly, half yearly and yearly.
- Documentation, report preparation review and deal with Transfer pricing authorities.
- Preparation, audit and annual income tax return of subsidiary companies.
- Review and preparation of Gratuity accounts, actuarial valuation for Leave encashment and Gratuity, AS15 disclosures audit and filing of tax return.
- Create a rapport with all external consultants and act as a liaison with Govt. CBI inquiry / investigations and income tax refunds.
- Ensure compliances at all levels and further look for opportunities for centralisation of the same.
- Proactively identify potential risk of any non-compliance.
- Continuously update new developments in taxation laws & case laws and implement them.
