DGM - Legal - Auto/Pharma/FMCG (8-12 yrs)
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the client group's operations and businesses, including participating in regular regional and global Process calls and as applicable.
- Educate and share information within the Legal function on all pertinent matters, including changes in Trade Practices, Compliance, General Contract Law, etc.
- Provide leadership, coaching and guidance as appropriate to develop the skills, knowledge and competence of the legal team. Support less experienced lawyers on projects and take the lead where necessary.
- Assist General Counsel generally in all functions of the Legal Department when necessary including in reporting activities.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the Legal function.
- Keep abreast of legislation changes and updates.
