JOB DESCRIPTION
Role: DGM/ GM- Internal Audit& Risk Management for a Leading Logistic MNC at Hyderabad.
Qualification: A qualified CA(preferable) /ICWA /Equivalent Qualification with 3+ years of post qualification experience with any Big 4 audit firm.
Should have worked in reputed companies.
Reports to Director - Finance
The purpose of the role is to ensure a focussed strategic Internal Audit . The role holder is required to effectively streamline the Internal Audit and management in close coordination with the Internal Audit Team and branches across India; Prior Exposure and experience of measuring Internal Audit effectiveness will be an added advantage. This is a leadership role which involves managing large teams and mentoring people.
- Lead the function and be responsible for defining and review of the scope of Inter Audit for the organisation.
- To plan, organise and carry out the internal audit function including the preparation of an audit plan which fulfils the responsibility of the department, scheduling and assigning work and estimating resource
- Work with management to ensure a system is in place which ensure that all major risks are identified and analysed
- Report the results of all audits to senior management and the Audit Committee
- To work closely with all Functions within the Company for defining Audit Calendar and Scope & Coverage.
- Ensure Audit Reports are followed up to confirm implementation progress and report upon non- compliance with Audit recommendations
- To make recommendations on the systems and procedures being reviewed, report on the findings and recommendations and monitor management's response and implementation
- To review and report on the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of the financial and other information that is provided for management the financial and other information that is provided for management
- Knowledge of internal audit procedures, including planning, techniques and methods involved in conducting audits
- Knowledge of accounting standards and procedures.
- Ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports.
- Upto date with the developments related to internal audit, particularly legislation changes and developments and new auditing techniques and practices

- Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with other staff and to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
Travel Required Extensive across India.
