Our client is seeking a dynamic and aggressive senior resource as a Business Head - Flow Technology (Business Unit - Clean Technology).   Job Description:  Designation : Deputy General Manager/General Manager, Flow Technology Group   Location : Pune   Preferred age-group : Male 35-40 years   Educational qualifications : BE/B.Tech (Mechanical/Chemical Engineering); or post-graduation   Reporting to : Senior Vice President, Flow Technology Group   Preferred background/experience:  Must have:   - About 15 years of experience in the pump industry   - Preferably in middle management, a mature youngster, looking to jump to a senior/Business Head role (DGM/GM)  - Experience must be particularly in centrifugal pumps for water and wastewater handling (surface and submersible) as well as some experience in positive displacement pumps;   - The last five years should be in managerial position, managing sale of products and projects (industrial and municipal) in water and wastewater segments.  - The level would be DGM or GM, reporting to Sr. VP.   - Sound commercial knowledge required for project, product sales or key account management.   - In-depth knowledge of costs, budgets, time & resource management and familiarity with commercial aspects of project engineering business  - Experience of leading and managing a team of people.  - Experience and exposure to dealer/channel management.   Key responsibilities / Key Result Areas:  - Proactively work to achieve budgeted revenues and profitability.   - Develop all necessary procedures and processes to ensure that the sales function operates effectively and efficiently to achieve all sales objectives.   - Identify business opportunities in niche markets; investigate new products for introduction.   - Develop and implement sales and marketing policies to improve the market share of each product and gross margins for the businesses.   - Develop channel/dealer network.   - Design and implement promotional and marketing plans to meet business objectives.   - Customer and Principal Relationship Management.   - Create effective, efficient and high performing teams, by mentoring and coaching all team members (Team size - 26)  Target Companies:  Grundfos, KSB, Kishor, Wilo, DP, ITT-Lowara, Kirloskar Bros.
