DGM - Finance/Finance Controller - CA - Auto Part Manufacturer & Supplier (8-15 yrs)

The Client :

A global manufacturer and supplier of Auto parts, components and accessories HQ at South India.

The Role :

DGM - Finance / Finance Controller : Second in line to the CFO. Operational level leadership for the F&A function with clear career path.

Indicative Key deliverables :

- Plant Accounts / MIS : Develop and document business processes and accounting policies in consultation with Management to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

- Accounting operations and allocations - AR/AP/GL,Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

- Financial analysis, Trend analysis, Identification and fixing leakages

- Internal Controls / Compliance

- Budgeting / Financial projections, Reporting

- Monthly financial statements for the plants and meeting with plant heads to analyse and control variances from the plan.

- Month-end, Year-end - P & L, BS

- Ensure quality of financial transactions.

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

The Ideal person for the role :

- Charted Accountant (CA) with post qualification experience of about 8 to 12 years.

Expertise in the following areas :

- Transactional and operational finance and accounting.

- Strategic and operational decision support;

- Governance, risk management, and internal control;

- Substantial experience in factory environment

- Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in SAP
