DGM - Distribution & Logistics - FMCG (12-16 yrs)
The incumbent will be responsible for logistics (including inbound transportation, customs, warehousing and distribution, imports and exports).
- Ownership of Distribution/ Logistics Strategy: Develop & Implement distribution Strategy for in line with the business growth across India.
- Leading Logistics Team: Lead and develop a team of Managers/Dy.Managers/ Asistant Managers/ Executives who administer logistics on a day to day basis.
- Transportation Management : Lead and guide transportation team to monitor performance and make continuous improvements in Transportation work processes using systems and IT like Implement solutions to have faster PAN India deliveries by eliminating way bill issues, interstate permits etc, dependency on courier companies.
- Warehouse Management : Leads and guide warehouse teams for Warehouse expansion / Consolidation to enable.
- Imports /Exports Management: Lead customs team to improve Freight forwarders and 3PL service provider performance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Engineer with MBA degree.Possess good knowledge of supply-chain management and logistics.Relevant experience of 13 to 14 years.Good leadership skills, Analytical ability to understand data, costs, trends and evolve stratagies.
