Turnaround time, accuracy and completeness targets  - Drive continuous process improvements by initiating and delivering process improvement projects  - Ensure compliance of all process requirements is not less than 100%  - Ensure that the resources are used optimally and buffer should not exceed 10%  - Ensure Team Productivity levels are achieved as per the targets set year on year  - Responsible for customer profitability by managing cost effectively by various means  - Adhering to the compliance standards   - Manage employee retention and engagement (Manage attrition within a target range and ESAT scores)  - Contribute to Recruitment (measure through participation in screening and interviewing candidates)  - Client Management and first level contact point for escalations from clients  - Process ownership and relationship management  - Effective Team management & conflict management  - Involvement in Trainings and organisation initiatives  - Performance/Appraisal management  - Resource planning, forecasting and staffing  Typical Responsibilities:  Business / Customer:  - Liaise with Ops owners from client side and other division within the bank and coordinate with internal teams ( IT, HR, Admin. and other teams)  - Run global calls with all regions (APAC, EMEA and US) to understand the pulse and work on improving the client service levels based on the feedback received  - Responsible for client satisfaction  People / Team:  - Establish / maintain procedures and controls in the process  - Provide work direction and guidance to team members: ensure accuracy of the work of team members, their ability to operate under deadlines and to work on multiple tasks  - Groom self and team to support vertical growth  - Responsible for team development and motivation - plan team activities and events  - Conduct appraisals for team members in a timely fashion  - Identify training needs of team members and provide coaching support to them  - Manage attrition and absenteeism  - Participate and contribute to ongoing organizational initiatives both at a client and organizational level  - Responsible for employee satisfaction and work life balancing  Degree of Independence/Supervision required:  - Manage large teams and require good supervisory skills along with team / stake holder management skills  Team Management Responsibilities: (wherever applicable)  - Team size: Approx. 50 associates, including 3-4 direct reportees  Qualification and experience:  - Education: Graduate / Post Graduate (preferably in finance / management)  Professional Experience:  - 12 years of experience in Investment Banking domain with at least 5-6 years proven expertise in Collateral Operations across the x-products.  Experience or extensive knowledge in Margin Management flow / process for x-products, including good amount of knowledge in understanding the bilateral agreements (Credit Support Annexure [CSAs], Prime Brokerage Agreements [PBAs], Stock Loan Agreements and Repo Agreements) and Tri-Party agreements.  - Operations management experience in Collateral agreement and settlements knowledge in various products, including OTC, Prime Brokerage, SBL, Repo and Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD).  - Experience in dispute management / portfolio reconciliations.  - Front to back knowledge in collateral with good macro view of trade life cycle.  - Knowledge on Regulatory impact (Dodd-Frank, EMIR guidelines) on margin, valuations and dispute management is desirable.  - Ability to cope up with the market / Industry trends and updates, specific to collateral is desirable.  - Settlement / confirmations experience with in IB Operations domain along with capital markets knowledge is desirable.  Other Proficiency:  - Experience of MS Office - Required  - Advanced Excel / Access based reporting - Required  - Good presentation and articulation skills  - Ability to cope up with fast paced and dynamic environment  You can also add me on Linkedin : http://in.linkedin.com/in/mirkhan2112
