Job Overview  The incumbent of this role will be responsible for handling a Accounts department for WPPIPL  Job Specifications:  Education/Formal Qualification : 	Chartered Accountant  Skills (Technical/Computer/Soft skills etc.):	  - Good multi tasking skills and presentation skills  - Must have excellent computer skills excel, word  - Good verbal & written communication skills and interpersonal skills  - Proactive approach  Knowledge and Experience (Total work experience and job related relevant experience):	  - 14 years of experience   - Experience in handling a team  Min Age :	 Around 35 years  Accounts, business process & audit :  - Design, establish and maintain an accounts department organizational structure to effectively support business and thereby accomplish the company's goals and objectives.   - Build, leverage, develop and coach the team with accounting and tax domain knowledge and drive them to be a true business partner so that total finance solutions are provided to all operations.  - Ensure that the internal control process system and authority matrix are followed by all head of the departments and managers at the time of signing of PO and work orders. Participate in process improvement to achieve key business objectives of reducing time taken for billing, collection of dues from customers etc. Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in the processes.   - Timely and accurate preparation of financial statements under IFRS and IGAAP as per annual goals set  - Finalization of accounts and co-ordination with statutory and tax auditors and Income tax consultants  - Monthly closures and formal quarterly closures  MIS & allied area :  - Monitor the preparation of monthly MIS for retail, real estate vertical along with business matrix.  - Review the monthly operating results against budgets like mall profitability, real estate inventory, discounts and rebates, capex spent, Corporate level profitability and analysis of data for overall cost reduction.  - MIS review meeting with Director Finance on 1st working day of the month and circulation of MIS in 3 working days.  - Presentation of MIS in monthly meeting with CEO at the end of the month by providing visibility for current month, next month and mapping the progress till date with annual score card goals.  - Support mall vertical head in operations meeting with CEO in terms of providing insight on cost savings opportunities, proactively sharing view points to improve process effectiveness or business efficiency.  - Support the vertical heads for strategic business plan preparation by maintaining and developing models for presentation in Annual Meetings of the company.   Cash flow :  - Daily Cash flow management in terms of planning for payments to support operations.  - Forecasting, reporting and controlling the payments cycles and collections by monitoring the progress of project sites, receivables/collections and then deploying of surplus funds in treasury investments.  Vendor payments management  - Circulating daily payment tracker and providing visibility on status of payments to key stake holders.   - Monitoring the vendor registration with online PAN/TIN verification at the time of master creation in system. Evaluating financial health of the vendors/contractors before awarding contracts.  - Weekly meetings with the vertical heads/project head for resolving vendor related issues.   Legal & Regulatory Compliance:  - Managing the regulatory compliance under service tax, VAT, works contract, TDS. Monitoring the filing of service tax/VAT returns, VAT audits/Tax audit etc.   Working conditions  - Usually works in an office setting, though he/ she may have to travel for meetings across locations.  Company Profile:  West Pioneer Properties is a leading developer and operator of retail-led, mixed use developments in India.
