Retail Design Architect - Footwear Business

One of the Leading Multiple Business Format Fashion Retail group based in Dubai, UAE for the role of Retail Design Architect for its Footwear Business.

The ideal person should be a B.Arch. (Bachelors Degree in Architecture) with 7-12 years of Interior / Retail Store / Building designing, preferably in Large multiple business Retail formats in Footwear. The Design Architect should have strong technical and managerial experience of at least 7 + years in Designing and handling Retail / Commercial projects etc. Should have excellent command over analysis and design. Will be responsible for engineering deliverables to meet design objective.

The person would be involved and responsible for :

- Preparation of project brief

- Design and co-ordinate with Architect/Consultants

- Design Development

- Design Retail Stores projects and Implement the same

- Develop and articulate project design concepts with inputs from senior management and other relevant departments.

- Develop, design and circulate Design brief in consultation with Senior Management.

- Prepare evaluation parameters for evaluating design concepts received from external architects, based on the design brief.

- Help evaluate design concepts and chose architects and designs for various projects, and across locations.

- Identify and prepare schedules and lists of approvals and drawings for all projects across locations

- Help assess and evaluate Service consultants and service plans in coordination with construction department.

- Coordinate with external architects, service consultants and other design agencies to ensure timely preparation and delivery of construction drawings.

- Coordinate with construction and procurement departments to resolve all technical queries regarding drawings and conduct site visits and reviews.

- Be responsible, in detailing and preparation of architectural drawings, floor plans or any architectural related design material to facilitate development of marketing collateral.

- GCC (Gulf ) experience is preferred but candidates from very Large Retail Format can also be considered.
