Deputy Manager/Manager - Risk/Compliance - BFSI (8-10 yrs)

We have opening for Deputy Manager or Manager Risk/Compliance

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Identify gaps in policies pertaining to compliance through regular audits, interacting with respective departments to ensure the flag is addressed and measures taken to implement and regulate functions.

- Review all First American India websites and enhancements to those sites for compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal requirements, in coordination with internal security counsel

- Audit policies, procedures, and practices for the organization (Client) to prevent illegal, unethical or improper behavior.

- Perform internal compliance investigations and audits throughout the business unit, compiling detailed reports with recommendations to Client legal counsel and senior management, as well as appropriate First American personnel.

- Coordinate the compliance activities with other business segments of the First American organization to assist with compliance educational components, issues and identify trends.

- Identify potential areas of vulnerability and risk, coordinate the results with division counsel and provide general guidance to address future similar issues.

- Develop, implement and monitor training materials and perform ongoing compliance training through the organization as needed.

- Make recommendations to appropriate counsel and senior management regarding policies, guidelines and training.

- Interacting with on shore Compliance team, respective business stake holders on constant updates and progress with respect to the changes based on audit observations.

- Report progress on all activities a monthly basis, and otherwise as requested, to client legal counsel, senior management

Credentials required for this position:

- Graduate in Law/CA/ACS

- Experience working with regulated multinational corporations, under Corporate compliance function

- Extensive experience in internal audit and compliance with respect to monitoring compliance functions, and evaluating business practices for ethical as well as legal compliance.

- At least 8-10 years’ experience corporate compliance related positions.

- Good presentation reporting skills and good (remote) interactive skills, as this position would mostly require interacting with Senior Management and leadership team in India and U.S
