Deputy Manager/Manager - Production - Machining/Forging/Heat Treatment (8-12 yrs)

Location: Chiplun-Ratnagiri District

- Spearheading the manufacturing operations in order to deliver key performance indicators as per the yearly budget

- Contribute to the development of the businesses to deliver best quality products & processes following the quality management systems

- Achieve targeted production as per the plan; monitoring the production as per capacity ;

- Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule;

- Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;

- Review of Quality targets and customer complaints

- Working Capital Management

- Encourage cost reduction projects.Ensuring that the production is cost effective; Manufacturing cost

- Implement proved Six Sigma problem-solving methods & statically tools

- Apply best practices for strengthen the bottom line.

- Hands on experience in forging, grinding, metal cutting, hardening.,

- Hands on experience on Budgeting

- Hands on experience on - 5S- Lean Initiatives, Kaizen, Pokayoke, Quality Circle, JIT, Kanban

- Hands on experience on Union issue Handling

- Hands on experience on TPM

- Hands on experience on Inventory Management

- Working out the human and material resources needed;

- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;

- Supervising and motivating a team of workers;Manage the talent within the plant by including managing, mentoring and developing staff.

- Reviewing worker performance;

- Supervising & monitoring a team of workers.

- Have great communication skills

- Have analytical skills

- Align with SCM team, HR team and Finance team to meet the business objectives

- Create a healthy culture within the plant in order to have better industrial relations along with HR

Years of Experience:

08-12 years of manufacturing experience and exposure to production, maintenance, quality and understanding of manufacturing concepts like TOC, Lean, TPM and QMS. He must have knowledge and experience of machining processes.Must have worked in the capacity of Production Manager or similar role for 2-3 years

Thorough understanding of Finance and extensive experience in managing shop floor grievance is required.

Qualification:BE (Mech).

Age Profile: Upto 30 -35 years
