Deputy Manager/Manager - Demand Management - Auto (10-12 yrs)
Responsible for leading, planning and implementing demand planning and sales administration activities with the objective of achieving the operational targets for the Industrial Business
Critical Competencies
- Communication & interpersonal skill, analytical & problem solving skill
- Working in Demand planning & management preferred.
- ERP literate, customer relationship management & Supply Chain Management knowledge
- Leadership, coaching skill, observation & logical thinking
- Presentation and Project Management Knowledge skills.
Tasks
- Demand Management : Coach & guide stochastic demand planning, monitor OEM rolling forecasts, Match the demand-supply equation by aligning with production.
- Preparation of Demand Database based on sales plan received from sales.
- Interaction between production and sales.
- Providing shop loading plan to production.
- Monitoring Sales and planning of relevant product group and adjust manufacturing plan accordingly.
- Generating MIS for management of planning/inventory/sales.
- Coordinating between Sales/Production/Quality/Sector Management/Business units on new product development.
- Interaction with Asia Pacific/ Business units on Demand Planning.
Required Education & Experience
- BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering. MBA is preferred.
- 10 or more years of working in the bearing industry.
- Sales/Engineering/Project/Marketing oriented.
