My client Deloitte India is hiring for Operational Risk (Business Analyst)

Role: Manager/Deputy Manager - Operational Risk

Job Description:

Role is client facing. The incumbent would lead teams and/or offer subject matter expertise in assisting financial institution/Banks in areas of Operational Risk including Business Contingency Planning (BCP) & Information Risk as per regulatory and Industry good practices.

Responsibilities would include

- Developing risk assessments, reviewing operational policies and advising on the creation of new policies and system implementation relating to regulatory requirements for various Bank and Financial Institutions

- Review compliance of clients with various regulatory requirements on operational risk

- Develop thought and industry papers on latest regulatory developments

- Project management from plan development to execution and delivery

- Support Senior Managers and Directors in business development initiatives

- Lead, mentor and train junior members on development in the area of operational risk

Experience

2-10 years of post-qualification experience in Basel, COSO, RBI (preferred) and other Regulatory guidelines across Operational Risk Management covering.

- Loss Data, Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs), Key Risk Indicators and Scenarios

- Capital Computation under Basel and RBI guidelines for advanced approaches

- Stress Testing and Risk reporting

- Process Risk Reviews and Review of Internal Controls

- Business Contingency Planning (BCP) & Crisis Management including Business Impact Analysis and Disaster Recovery

- Information Security and IT Risk Management (IRM )

- Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Compliance (preferred)

- SAS/Algorithmics/OFSA systems for capital computation (preferred)

Skills/Attributes

- Excellent Client Partnership and Stakeholder Management skills

- Should be able to work independently as well as part of team.

- Strong control mindset with an aptitude to identify & assess operational risk issues

- Sound communication and negotiating skills

- Reasonably good Excel and Power-point skills

- Should be a s elf starter and carry a proactive & positive approach

- Ability to multi-task and capable of delivering on multiple priorities

- Ability to understand the risk impacts of technology change projects

- Candidate should be willing to travel within India and outside India

Requirements

Education

The candidate is to be a Chartered Accountant or Post Graduate /MBA with specialisation in Finance

Candidates with certification in FRM/PRMIA/CISA would be given preference.
