Our client is a global consulting firm which undertakes projects in the areas of Internal Audit, Risk Consulting, Business Improvement, IT consulting and Forensics. Looking for :

Deputy Manager (Business Risk Advisory) - 2 positions (1 for telecom domain and 1 for media)

- Spearhead internal client facing teams and guide them to solution / delivery by executing the tasks. Lead modules of the engagement in small parts.

- Identify, assess and monitor risks by developing a risk management plan and strategy and identify opportunities to improve business processes.

- Assist clients in addressing compliance, financial, operational and strategic risk.

- Assist team members in developing technical and professional competency. Coach, train and support junior members in the team.

- Independently execute assignments. Typical assignments comprise of conducting reviews of systems, internal controls, re-engineering processes, documentation of Standard Operating Procedures, cost and working capital optimization etc.

- Effectively deliver tasks on projects as guided by the Managing Director/Director/Associate Director / Senior Manager/ Manager.

- Manage multiple assignments and related project internal teams.

- Meet quality guidelines within the established turnaround time (or allotted budget) for assigned requests.

- Establish deep relationships with client personnel (at appropriate levels) by understanding client's perspective.

- Assist clients with testing internal process controls and developing internal audit plans.

- Assess the current state of an organization's internal control/Sarbanes-Oxley Act framework and help clients drive value and efficiency in their internal controls utilizing the latest technology and leading practices.

- Constantly monitor project progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.

- Participate in sales and support business development initiatives.

Desired profile :

- Preferably CA qualification in 1st/2nd attempt with good articleship experience or MBA from a reputed B School.

- Minimum 4.5years experience in a related field (Business Risk), preferably in professional services and/or industry.

- Understanding of business processes and internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT), control rationalization, optimization, effectiveness and efficiency; knowledge of process gaps identification and auditing methodologies (including flowcharting), IT Infrastructure, Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance.

- Experience related to implementation of variety of research and information gathering strategies, conduct risk assessment, perform and interpret gap analysis and development of risk remediation strategies

- Knowledge and experience in Telecom / Media domain is a must

- Prior project management and supervisory skills

- Interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships

- Sound job administration skills

- Good written communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations

- Strong analytical skills

- Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner

- Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress

- Certification in CIA/CISA/CPA is preferred but not essential

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.

- Possesses excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills. Adept at preparing and presenting reports to an audience.

- Ability to multi task and manage teams.

- A strong client focus by effectively serving client needs and developing productive working relationships with client personnel. Stay abreast of current business and economic developments and new pronouncements/ standards relevant to the client's business.

- Must work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently. Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities for specific engagements. Foster teamwork and innovation.

- Mature, proactive and displays initiative. Manages own and others time well. Able to work under pressure.

- Enjoys travelling and meeting new people. Ability to travel (Domestic & International) as necessary to meet client needs. Second language skills and international business experience will be useful.
