Description :
- Interaction with Central/State authorities and industry associations
- Follow up on each new updates related to telecom on all the governmental agencies viz. DoT, TRAI and association bodies
- Timely resolution and response to letters / queries / observations / forwarded by DOT/TRAI/TAIPA etc
- Develop the various policies and suggest the appropriate strategy to be taken before the regulator / government
- Compilation, analysis and reporting of all telecom related consultation paper/regulations/recommendations/guidelines etc for national as well as international level as well as alert the management on both threats and opportunities, from revenue and saving perspective
- Drafting and filing representations, if any with the regulatory authorities
- Coordination with cross functional teams to ensure compliances to all the prescribed regulatory norms
- Drafting contracts and handling litigation pertaining to the telecom infrastructure industry at TDSAT, HC & SC
Profile :
- Must have completed LL.B
- Must have 8-15 yrs experience
- Telecommunication regulatory background preferred
- Well conversant with TRAI/DOT rules, regulations and related laws
