ABOUT THE CLIENT  Client is a foreign mezzanine fund specifically formed to focus on investments in residential real estate in Delhi and Mumbai. It's parent entity is a USD 1.2 billion fund, raised from a US based pension fund. The group has investment platforms across 7 countries globally, but primarily in Europe.  Till date client has invested INR 700 crores in 8 residential projects in Delhi NCR in last 1.5 years and plans to double its invested capital over next 12 months.  ROLE OBJECTIVE  Client is seeking candidates to assess financial health of portfolio companies and provide high quality management reporting to international investors through continuous engagement with the top management of promoter companies. Besides from time to time conduct financial controller responsibilities within the fund.  Candidate will report the the Managing Director of the fund  NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 2  JOB LOCATION: South Delhi, Delhi  SALARY: INR 25-30 LAKHS with a discretionary bonus  ENGAGEMENT FORMAT   This is a full time position but as a general employment practise the candidate shall be engaged as a consultant.   RESPONSIBILITIES   - Management reporting of all portfolio companies through regular interaction with their CFO and CEOs   - Structuring MIS   - Coordinating budget reviews, and budget consolidation; conducting comprehensive variance analysis reports; initiating corrective actions.   - Monitor compliances for Direct / Indirect Taxes across invested companies   - Monthly & yearly closing of Books of Accounts   - Key contributor to annual budgeting exercise of portfolio companies  - Coordinating periodic audit of portfolio companies and Fund entity   CANDIDATE PROFILE   - Should have experience and aptitude to work with mid-size real estate promoters and their management   - Should be a CA and should have performed Financial Controller role  - Should be a Chartered Accountant with minimum 8 years of experience  - Should be comfortable in working in a smaller set up   - Past experience with a real estate company will be an advantage   This is a tentative Job Description and only indicative of full set of responsibilities
