Job Title: Deputy Chief Manager / Sr. Manager - Finance and Accounts   Grade L6 / L5  Job Title & Grade of supervisor: Deputy Chief Manager / Senior Manager  Purpose of the job:  Person should be well versed in Insurance accounting, Insurance act and IRDA regulations.   - He should have good knowledge on Indian GAAP and Companies act 2013.   - He should have expert knowledge on Service tax and operational knowledge on Income tax Act.  (Give a brief overview of the job, its context in the department and the contribution that it makes to the department)  Responsibilities of the jobholder  - To be responsible for preparing monthly/quarterly and annual financial statements.  - To review and check all month end provisions given by respective departments and account it properly.  - To prepare month on month, expense report and submit to CFO for review.  - To compare Budget vs Actual for all major expenses  - To be responsible for service tax, income tax and TDS payments  - To ensure timely capitalization of fixed assets transactions  - To ensure foreign payments as per FEMA and its accounting  - To ensure payment and accounting of inter-company transactions  - To have good knowledge of Indian GAAP and companies Act 2013  Working relationships: (Outline the important relationships that the jobholder must maintain, and the sort of issues on which that jobholder must communicate within these relationships)  - Should have at least 5 years of core finance and accounting experience in Insurance or in financial services company.  - Should have good communication and inter personal skills  - Should have good coordination skills to deal with different departments, project managers and delivery heads.  Attributes	Essential	Desirable:  Knowledge: (Level and breadth required to do the job. E.g. understanding of a defined system, practice, method or procedure)	  - Hands on in Oracle/SAP accounting package.  - Good knowledge of MS Excel  Technical/ work-based skills: (Skills specific to the job. E.g. language fluency, selling skills etc)  - Command over good English	  General Skills: (General characteristics required to do the job effectively. E.g. effective communication skills, ability to delegate, motivate etc.)	  - Good understanding of accounting knowledge	  Experience: (The proven record of experience and achievement in a field, profession or specialization) 	   - 5 years of experience in accounts department	  Qualifications: (The level of education and professional qualifications and/ or specific occupational training required)	  - CA with at least 5 years of accounting experience  - Should be staying on western line
