Deputy/Assistant Manager - Commercial - Power/Energy

- Responsible for identifying service providers, awarding contracts, making contractor agreements and service level agreements.

- Identify new contractors based on port needs and negotiate the contract rates, issue the contract to the contractors, monitor execution of the contract and coordinate with the users on contract execution and performance

- Process service contracts on time by maintaining service quality and keeping optimum cost

- Standardize contractual frameworks by incorporating e.g. fuel escalation, liability on account of handling losses.

- Ensure compliance to Quality, service levels, Legal, financial and safety norms in contracts

- Close contract after verifying the compliance and other contractual terms and conditions

- Resolve service provider related issues in coordination with contract admin and user departments.

- Review vessel contracts and provide advice on any missing issues in services/taxes/rates

- Implement best practices in service contracts procedures and processes.

- Manage process and documentation as per IMS requirement

- Prepare Monthly MIS to evaluate service levels of contractors

- Ensure continuous training and development of the team in sync with HR.
