Demand Planning Lead - Agro Chemical (10-20 yrs)

Demand Planning lead for Agro chemical MNC

- Demand Planning for multiple time horizons, Manage the people, process and tools to achieve a consensus forecast for demand to be used for crop planning (Y+1, 2, etc) and current year fulfillment.

- Oversee the Data Management process - collection, preparation and model loading

- Statistical Forecasting / Predictive Analytics- Utilization of systems and other tools to project - Unconstrained Baseline Forecast based on product segmentation, portfolio and life cycle - Y1, Y2 volume, geography, product demand based on historical data and heuristics

- Lead a cross functional stakeholders to iteratively review Demand Plans via business intelligence, marketing and pricing assumptions to revise baseline demand prediction to arrive at unconstrained Net/Gross Sales forecast

- Ensure Demand Plan flows to Future Supply planning and transitions to the Current Season demand Review: Continuous Updates to Demand Forecast based on constraints and market condition

- Continue Improvement and supporting the documentation/mapping of current and future state processes, key decisions, RACI, timelines, etc.

- Performance Management - Measure demand forecast accuracy, bias, and model forecast (revision vs. actual, model manual override effectiveness). Includes financial metrics

- Master's of Mathematics, Applied Economics or Statistics; alternatively a Bachelors of Mathematics, Applied Economics or Statistics with an MBA required

- +2 years relevant Econometrics work experience

- Proficiency in financial analysis and predictive modeling with demonstrated analytical skill for applied problem solving - some consulting experience is a plus
