- This role is responsible for designing and managing a variety of activities, including driving function / region specific total rewards including - benefits, perquisites, and recognition programs.

- These programs should be in line with the business objectives of the allocated service lines/functions and aligned to the overall guidelines and processes of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and its subsidiaries.

- The individual in this role will also be responsible for driving new initiatives, where necessary and appropriate and for communicating the overall total rewards story to our practitioners. The position will support special projects, as needed.

The key job responsibilities include the following :

- Oversee specific benefits, perquisites, and recognition programs and rewards programs in line with the Total Rewards philosophy of the region and overall Deloitte US strategy and Indian market conditions.

- Continue to maintain knowledge of the market to provide business advisory. Build market intelligence through effective internal and external networks to track market trends and recommend improvements in reward products & processes

- Engage with business to provide advisory from a Total Rewards benefits perspective and act as a strategic partner with the FSS's and Service Lines as necessary.

- Cultivate a thorough understanding of the various reward related business requirements through an understanding of the business and their operating model

- Manage the market bench-marking process, validate market information and help develop point of view as per the desired competitiveness.

- Create and run employee communication/education programs around various elements of our Total Rewards and sharpen / strengthen the Employee Value proposition in conjunction with Business HR.

- Drive metrics and analysis to provide insights to business leadership and business HR Leadership about the internal/external trends and movements in benefits space.

- Manage the tools and processes used/followed to carry out the various reward programs.

The key skills required :

Necessary :

- Masters degree in Human Resources from any of the reputed HR institutes like XLRI/TISS/IIMs.

- Min of 8 year's experience managing HR functions / sub functions in IT/ITeS/Services firms, of which at least 2 years in a role as lead/lead advisor to business/es on Total Rewards or Compensation and benefits of a 1200-2000 strong multi-process, multi-location MNC in India.

- Exceptional analytical and communication skills.

- Deep familiarity with MS - EXCEL and Power point

Desired :

- Exposure to survey methodologies of Mercer, Watson Wyatt, Hewitt or E&Y.

- Understanding of the emerging Total Rewards architecture and India's current talent landscape.
