Technology Consulting Service Line: Technology Strategy and Architecture (TS&A)

The Technology Strategy & Architecture (TS&A) practice advises clients in areas ranging from strategy development to the implementation of defined tactical responses to help realize business value and service excellence from their IT investments.

Our advisory services and solutions enable clients to maximize both the value derived from their IT capital investments (e.g., IT strategy and portfolio management, innovation, architecture and infrastructure) and the efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations (e.g., IT organization design, IT process and service delivery optimization and IT cost reduction).Services we offer to our clients include advisory in Business Technology Strategy, IT Operations, Enterprise Architecture, IT infrastructure advisory, IT M&A, among others.

TS&A practice in DTT India is on an exponential journey in the emerging technology consulting market in India. Our consultants are favourably placed to learn, grow and nurture this growing market. We are looking for practitioners who are willing to chart this existing journey with our clients in India.

Desired Core technical and Service line capabilities for Technology Strategy & Architecture Director (Smart City) role are :

- Delivery Excellence : Ability to lead projects and provide strategic direction across the account to deliver a superior client experience.

- Knows the Business and Sector : Ability to advise the client to make decisions that positively impact return on investment; provides subject matter expertise on sector trends and leading practices.

- Ability to lead, design the strategy roadmap and technology transformation for large scale projects.

- Ability to define and drive the client's desired technology strategy and supporting business processes.

- Leads the design of the client's IT operating model and strategy and ensures proper alignment between the business strategy and the supporting IT strategy throughout the development

- Introduces relevant market trends for clients to consider for design enhancements and articulates their potential impact on the IT strategy

- Integrates IT infrastructure and assets (e.g., data centers, servers/networks) into the strategy and defines how they can provide value to the organization

- Maintains a macro-level, end-to-end view of the solution, and continuously evaluates recommended solutions based on their suitability to the client's situation

- Stays current on emerging trends and technologies (e.g., cloud, social) and uses to drive innovative solutions based on client's desired functionality, improve the user experience and enhance IT service delivery

- Leads teams to design solutions for clients that challenge conventional thinking and deliver on business objectives

- Adopts a holistic view when recommending solutions to address business needs; considers the business need in totality versus focusing on a specific solution

- Anticipates and articulates broader organizational implications of proposed IT recommendations

- Clearly identifies and outlines key competencies needed for the organization to deliver quality service and establish a leading customer experience

- Leads the development and automation of IT processes to generate efficiencies within the function

- Leads teams to enhance the client's IT financial management practices

- Leads a team to develop robust IT operating models an defines integration points with the broader business

- Helps clients identify opportunities for outsourcing based on business needs and leads the transformation efforts

- Candidates should have working experience on Smart City projects.
