Our Data Analytics practice uses innovative tools to analyse vast amounts of data in order to proactively or reactively identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost optimisation, risk mitigation, forensic investigation and strategic advice for our clients. The group specialises in electronic data sourcing, optimisation, analysis, interpretation, prediction and modelling.
Job Description for Data Science:
Responsibility:
- Works with the business team to identify the right business objective and data required to answer the same.
- Collaborate and coordinate with Technology and Business teams for all data needs.
- Designs & executes a data collection plan from both structured and unstructured sources that helps in data exploration, hypothesis testing and statistical modeling.
- Reviews data analysis and insights which can be articulated to business stakeholders. Identify the next steps. Performing data visualization and presentation to clients.
- Develops POCs that can be used to generate business decisions.
- Understand and execute wide range of client requirements in terms of data cleaning, modelling, reporting, statistical analysis, algorithm development, planning etc.
Knowledge / Skills required:
A BE or MS in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or Economics 4+ years of relevant working experience in an analytical role involving data extraction, reporting, visualization and modelling Expert level proficiency in data querying language (SQL). Extensive experience with data modelling/analytical tools such as SAS,R, Python (mandatory), MapReduce, Spark, Hive, Pig, HBase (not mandatory) Proven experience with data analytics and visualization tools (Tableau/ Qlik,Spotfire) Communication skills with a proven ability to successfully interact with varying levels of management Forward thinking and innovative Passionate and enthusiastic Good team player
Possess a fundamental understanding of:
Testing and validating the model
Neural Networks & Deep Learning
Machine learning techniques
Geospatial Analytics (not mandatory)
