Function : U.S. India Enabling Areas  Service Area : Strategy, Innovation and Transformation  Service Line : Innovation-Sensing  Location : Mumbai  Key job responsibilities include the following :  - Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies and articulate their impact on sectors, business functions   - Identify trends by tracking news articles and vendor announcements and analyzing investment and market data  - Develop expertise in one or more technology trend area  - Liaison with US and India team members to understand requirements and prioritize work  - Identify potential data sources and weigh alternate sources based on their strengths and weaknesses   - Deliver relevant, accurate, comprehensive research as per quality standards and in a timely manner  - Provide incisive summaries of research findings to guide analysts and save them time  - Scan websites and online databases regularly and provide relevant information to US Innovation analysts  - Manage third party subscriptions and help analysts retrieve relevant information  - Be the point of contact in the US Innovation team for all queries related to secondary research sources and search strategies  Special skills/professional experience :   - Experience in vendor analysis, technology research, business analysis, IT consulting, strategy or worked on large ERP, IT transformation programs  - Ability to organize information in a logical manner to facilitate easy use/retrieval by analysts  - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English  - Facility with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  - Strong team player, preferably with experience working in virtual teams  - MBA from a premier Institute Preferred.  Work experience : At least five or six years of work experience in technology research, IT consulting or strategy role in a technology company  - Deloitte is the brand under which tens of thousands of dedicated professionals in independent firms throughout the world collaborate to provide audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk management and tax services to selected clients.
