Job Title : Sales Support Sr. Advisor  Overall Objectives:  - Serve as operations lead for sales leader; managing the transformational initiatives; compensation support, planning and design; sales tools and process support, deal governance, sales tools & CRM – adoption and compliance;training; pipeline management and reporting.  - Understand and apply knowledge of Dell Services and structure with interlocks with other Dell business units in the region, to facilitate connection between sales resources and to improve processes.  Skills/Competencies:  - Strong financial background preferred, especially in areas of compensation and forecasting.  - SalesForce.com reporting experience strongly preferred.  - Must be a self-starter, adept at dealing with ambiguous situations. Demonstrated ability to identify and remove operational obstacles.  - Must have prior experience supporting sales, preferably in an operational arena or as a direct sales maker.  - Experience with Services preferred.  - Must be collaborative, and able to establish high performing cross-functioning teams across organizational and reporting boundaries  - Sales Tools and Process: establish project IDs as required; help enforce proper sales motion.  - Deal Governance: Ensure compliance with governance policies and controls. Suggest and facilitate improvements to process to increase velocity and maintain control standards.  - Sales Tools & CRM: Ensure sales awareness of and compliance to required SFDC entry and CRM management policies / procedures.  - Pipeline Management and Reporting: Measured by quality of pipeline reviews each week; accuracy of SFDC entries to the TCV walk; input to and coaching on improvements needed to weekly reports.  - Compensation support: Support/responsiveness to Sales’ compensation issues. Active coaching of sales on commissions process and control requirements (in collaboration with HR and Finance).  - Planning and Design: Provide quarterly ROI analysis (sales expense vs. quota attainment by industry and region).  - Support sales leader in quarterly design/reporting in support of sales performance evaluation.  - Interlocks: mentoring/relationship/collaboration with counterparts in other industries, LOBs and Business Units (commercial)  - Supplemental - Pursuit Budget Management: Establish pursuit budgets for large pursuits. Monitor adherence to pursuit budget in collaboration with sales lead.
