Dell - Senior Benefits Advisor (9-16 yrs)

We are looking for a Sr. Benefits Advisor for Dell Bangalore.

Note: Preferably from Insurance Background and who has end to end purely benefits experience as this role is mainly into benefits.

- Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring benefits programs and global benefits policies which support company objectives and local practices.

- Provides HR and management with ongoing consultation and develops processes and tools which facilitate the administration and ongoing management of effective,

- Equitable, and compliant programs. Also ensures adherence to applicable government regulations. Negotiates benefits coverage, services and costs with carriers and brokers. Interacts with internal Dell functions such as legal and procurement to ensure overall compliance and adherence to Dell policies.

- Collaboration and engagement with global stakeholders.

Knowledge :

- In-depth disciplinary knowledge, leverages business, financial acumen and subject matter expertise.

- Provides deep subject matter expertise, advice and program delivery.

- Contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise.

- In-depth understanding of Dell goals, customer requirements and knowledge of competitor practices.

- Thorough understanding of Dell business priorities, strategy and direction.

- Thorough understanding and management of customer business needs and expectations.

- Manages projects and program execution.

Problem Solving :

- Works on abstract and complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables.

- Integrates trends, data and information into plans, deliverables and recommendations.

- Develops innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improve business performance and contribute to corporate goals and strategic intent.

- Pricing models

- Anticipates operational, program, and implementation issues and develops preventative measures.

- Adapts projects, programs or methods based on customer or business partner feedback.

- Work is guided by business plans for the discipline.

- Influences others through their professional/technical expertise.

- Manages critical projects, customer engagements or business processes.

- Guides completion of major projects or customer engagements.

- Allocates work and mentors others.

Job Differentiator :

- Involved in developing, modifying and executing all benefits and other HR programs and policies that affect immediate operations.

- Usually acts as a liaison between benefits and some departments/ divisions, certain levels of line management, HR, legal counsel and outside service providers.

- May establish operational objectives and work plans, and ensures performance against requirements with extended team.

- May make some final decision(s) on administrative or operational matters and team member escalations.

- Manages key benefits events.

- Provides regular support for large or multiple benefits programs for significant part of the company, and ensures proper interpretation and application of benefits policies.

Skill :

- Strong knowledge of principles and practices of benefits programs, with advanced knowledge of a specialty area.

- Strong knowledge of HRIS, PC software, Powerpoint and spreadsheet applications.

- Communication and influencing skill in a fast paced environment.

Experience :

- At least 7 years of relevant C&B experience.
