Outbound Marketing Manager / Director

Location: Bangalore, India

As Outbound Marketing Manager for Dell’s Infrastructure & Cloud Computing services, you have the opportunity to acquire and manage talent to support the product content marketing of Dell’s Infrastructure & Cloud Computing services. The team will create unique positioning, messaging, sales collateral and online content in support of Infrastructure & Cloud Computing services.

The team manager will ensure product marketing content quality and ensure adherence to processes/governance. This position will give you the opportunity to use your knowledge of infrastructure and cloud computing to create positioning that aligns customer needs and market drivers, and that differentiates Dell from the competition. You and your team will use your services and marketing expertise to create materials that clearly communicate the value that Dell’s services and solutions bring to the marketplace

Key Responsibilities

- Acquiring and managing talent to support the product content marketing of Dell’s Infrastructure & Cloud Computing services

- Ensuring product marketing content quality and ensuring adherence to processes/governance

- Developing Infrastructure & Cloud Computing services positioning and messaging that differentiates Dell in the market, as well as supports Dell’s brand.

- Creating internal and customer-facing materials that clearly communicate the value and unique advantage of our services.

- Developing website content to drive awareness and demand through clear, high-impact, customer-focused service portfolio information.

- Developing and managing marketing and sales tools including datasheets, whitepapers, case studies, articles, and sales presentations.

- Creating sales training and tools that support the selling process.

- Managing product launches to ensure sales force readiness.

- Applying in-depth knowledge of professional standards for writing and marketing

- Coordinating closely with a cross-functional team of business leaders, marketing, sales and the web team on the launch and promotion of new and existing services.

- Working with Dell’s partners and their marketing teams on joint marketing efforts

- Supporting Infrastructure & Cloud Computing in Dell and industry events

- Researching and learning triggers for Services buyers, as well as information on competitors, in order to differentiate Dell’s messaging.

- Serving as a subject matter expert on content related to Infrastructure & Cloud Computing service offerings as well as messaging that correlates with related offerings in other service lines.

- Incorporating knowledge of business industry trends and their impact on Dell’s customers.

- Applying deep product marketing expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate messaging strategies.

Requirements

- 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably with Technology Services.

- Working knowledge of Infrastructure & Cloud Computing, including key relevant offerings such as social media, business analytics, and mobility.

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field.

- Strong writing skills with experience developing unique storytelling and/or high-impact sales materials within brand and style guidelines.

- Experience working with multi-functional product development teams and structured offering lifecycle management phases.

- Proven results working with business leaders and sales team to generate marketing and sales-ready leads that result in pipeline growth.

- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of establishing credibility with internal stakeholders, sales, customers and the operations teams.

- Experience in developing effective and creative content for digital marketing (both internal and external), such as Web content.
