Professional Experience & Technical Skills :

Past Experience :

- Should have worked as a business analyst/ consultant/ advisor with a reputed organization,

- Past exposure of having dealt with databases, software development/ programming,

Business Knowledge :

- Candidate should be able to exhibit expert domain knowledge of Analytics, including :

- Expert knowledge of key Business drivers

- Should have worked on projects of significant business value,

- Should have a good knowledge of key industry & business trends,

- Should be able to demonstrate good business and financial acumen especially wrt online business and online metrics.

- Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, along-with good knowledge of key analytical and database tools & applications including SAS, SQL, MS Access etc,

Execute to Business Deliverables, take ownership of work within a Business Area Candidate should have played a role where he/she has been accountable for deliverables within a business area :

- Took complete ownership of work and business deliverables,

- Worked in large cross functional teams,

- Managed multiple processes, dealt with multiple stakeholders as part of work delivery,

Managed large/ long term engagements with the ability to :

- Develop, monitor and execute to project roadmap,

Education : PG - MBA from a Premier Institute with an Engineering degree

Experience :

Mandatory :

- Total 6+ Years experience

- Worked as a business analyst in Analytics/ Business Intelligence/ Consulting

- Candidate should have played a role where he/she has been accountable for delivery within a business area

- Project management skills - Prioritized amongst multiple objectives and demonstrated flexibility during the course of the engagement

- Dealt with multiple stakeholders as part of work delivery, worked in large cross functional teams

Desirable :

- Exposure to Online testing & targeting, including running beta tests, demonstrating a data driven approach to developing business ideas for site & traffic improvements etc, will be accorded a high weight-age.

Tools :

Mandatory :

- Expert level knowledge of general purpose analytics tools & applications such as MS Excel, SAS, MS Access.

- Basic knowledge of SQL/Business Objects

Skills :

- Strongly analytical skills, ability to understand business situations and provide data backed analysis.

- High degree of business and financial acumen

- Hands-on experience with data analysis tools.
